What parameters need to be adjusted when calibrating a pressure sensor?

When calibrating pressure sensors, it is usually necessary to adjust the following parameters:

1. Zero offset refers to the output value of a sensor when there is no pressure applied. If the sensor still has non-zero output when there is no pressure, it is necessary to adjust the zero offset so that its output is zero at zero pressure.液压机

2. Full Scale Output * * Full scale output refers to the output value at the maximum pressure within the measurement range of the sensor. If this value does not match the expected full-scale value, adjustments need to be made to ensure that the output reaches the specified full-scale value at maximum pressure.

3. Linearity * * Linearity reflects the degree of linear relationship between sensor output and input pressure. If the output of the sensor is not completely linear throughout the entire pressure measurement range, it may be necessary to adjust the linearity through calibration to make the output closer to the ideal linear relationship.

4. Sensitivity * * Sensitivity represents the change in sensor output caused by a unit pressure change. If the sensitivity of the sensor deviates from the nominal value, adjustments need to be made to achieve accurate measurement.

5. Temperature Compensation Coefficients: If the performance of the sensor is greatly affected by temperature, the temperature compensation coefficients need to be adjusted to reduce the impact of temperature changes on the measurement results. For example, for a pressure sensor with a measurement range of 0-100 MPa, during the calibration process, if the sensor output is 5 mV instead of 0 mV at zero pressure (zero offset issue), 50 mV instead of the expected 100 mV at full-scale pressure (full-scale output issue), or if there is a significant deviation between the output at different pressure points and the ideal straight line (linearity issue), the corresponding parameters need to be adjusted and calibrated
